Since starting the course I have discovered that I particularly enjoy editorial design, which is something I never thought I would want to do before coming to LCA. While I am studying here I definitely want to keep practising editorial design as it is what I want to do when I eventually graduate; whether this is part of a studio or freelance or a personal project. Publication design often plays well with my love of photography as I have a strong interest in photography publications such as Street Dreams, Kinfolk, Cereal, British Journal of Photography and a few others.
When looking for designers or studios to interview I will definitely be looking to see if they have ever done any editorial work as it is something I want to learn more about.
