OUGD502 Studio Brief 1 | Jacknife [Studio]

Jacknife is another Toronto-based studio I found when looking into Blok who have worked with some pretty big names such as Nike, Red Bull, Umbro and Adidas. There work is very clean and modern but not very minimal, instead it's big and bold; using hand-rendered custom type on their website over vibrant, light images.

Jacknife have a long list of 'capabilities' meaning they're open for more business than others, this list includes;

• Graphic Design
• Product Design
• Digital
• Communications
• Environment
• Writing
• Production

Although not my usual go-to interest in graphic design, Jacknife's environment designs really caught my eye. Asking questions about this kind of design could really be beneficial to me for my COP essay as I'm looking into how brands use a physical space to their advantage, although I don't think it's what I want to go into in the future.
